User Checklist

Things you need to bring

• Tea towels

• Dishcloth(s)

• Tablecloths (unless hiring from us)

Before you leave Kotahi

General:

• Leave the venue clean

• Check the lights are switched off

• Check any heating/electronics are turned off

Rooms:

• Leave room as you found it

• Remove decorations (including blu-tack)

• Pack down, clean and remove rubbish from the venue

• Put chairs & tables where you found them

Kitchen:

• Fridge - take your drinks & food

• Oven & hob - turned off and clean

• Steriliser - check drained and turned off

• Tableware - crockery, glassware, cutlery etc. returned to cupboards/drawers

• Coffee machine - clean machine & surrounding area of coffee grinds

• Rubbish - remove rubbish from bin, replace with bag provided

Toilets:

• Rubbish - remove rubbish from bins replacing with bags provided

Hirers are responsible for cleaning the venue before they leave

Basic cleaning equipment is available from under the kitchen sink and a vacuum cleaner is provided in the cleaner’s cupboard in the disabled toilet
